Your Role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital To assist in the preparation, delivery and service of meals to patients and staff to a high standard of excellence. The Position
  • Interpret menu cards for meal service to patients.
  • Assist with the washing of cutlery, crockery and glassware.
  • Assist with the washing up of large heavy-duty pots, pans and other kitchen utensils.
  • Observe and practice all aspects of food, kitchen and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with general kitchen hygiene, washing of walls, floors and refrigerators etc., and other areas as requested.
  • To ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
You will have basic knowledge of all areas of kitchen hygiene, the ability to interpret menus correctly, along with the ability to prioritise your work and work to a set schedule To succeed you will have good interpersonal skills, the ability to use your initiative, demonstrate reliability and work with minimal supervision and guidance and good problem-solving abilities. Previous experience in hospital or large catering organisation and an understanding of Quality Improvement will be highly regarded.   • Hourly Rate: $35.92 - $37.21 p/hr (inclusive of 25% loading) + 11% superannuation
  • Casual position available
