In this role, youll:


Work within our Rostering and Scheduling Team within the Service Delivery branch of NSW TrainLink, with a focus on building the fortnightly day of operations Roster for regional train drivers covering Sydney, Werris Creek, Taree and Grafton.


This role will see you involved in building the roster as well as looking at the training compliance needs of relevant staff and using analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to allocate appropriate cover for impacted shifts.


You will ensure the optimal use of crew resources in compliance with workplace conditions and agreements as well as identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Day of Operations roster.

About you


Your demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build strong stakeholder relationships will be a strength of yours, that will see you achieve the best business outcomes for our train crew and leadership.


Your recognised as having skills and experience with computer based rostering software like Microster, as well as having effective prioritisation and time management capabilities.


You are also analytical and a problem solver who can identify operational risks, with the ability to influence and improve efficiencies and provide feedback to achieve roster improvements.


This is an Award RC4 Permanent Full-Time role based in Sydney, with consideration for Regional based candidates, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
