Study Coordinator Research Officer

Classification: ANU Officer 5/6 (Research) Salary package: $83,351 - $97,929 per annum plus 17% superannuation Terms: Part time (up to 21 hours, 0.6 FTE), Fixed term (up to 2 years) The Research Officer is part of the DHEWS team and reports to Prof Nicolas Cherbuin, at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. The Research Assistant will work with other staff and students in DHEWS and the NeuroImaging and Brain Lab (NIMBL). Role Statement:

Under general supervision and guidance, the Research Officer is required to:

  • Manage, coordinate, and support several epidemiological and clinical studies hosted at ANU and collaborating institutions;
  • Oversee and contribute to data collection (including face-to-face assessments and measurements, phone interviews, online surveys, etc.), as well as the scheduling of appointments and communications with participants and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with data entry, cleaning, analysis and maintenance of participant databases;
  • Assist with the preparation of datasets and their analysis;
  • Prepare and format results for publication and contribute to the drafting of manuscripts;
  • Undertake administrative functions including literature reviews and assist with the preparation of ethics applications, grant writing and their submission;
  • Assist with the preparation of surveys and questionnaires on the Qualtrics survey software;
  • Support training of students and staff within DHEWS/NIMBL;
  • Other duties consistent with the classification of the position.
