Senior Tax Accountant

The Company:This multinational company is a leader in their industry and one of the most successful companies worldwide. This is a 12-month contract where you will be able to make a real difference to the business and treated like an employee.   The Role:You will play a key role in the tax team and take ownership of direct and indirect tax compliance as well as strategic projects and advisory initiatives. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Review GST/BAS submissions and GST treatment on products
• Prepare and manage Income Tax and FBT returns
• Support ATO Combined Assurance Review and Voluntary Disclosures
• Assist with acquisitions, divestments, and R&D tax claim processes
• Contribute to governance policies and procedures
• Deliver on corporate tax reporting requirements
• Support Transfer Pricing requirements
• Play a key tax role in business integration efforts
• Identify tax risks and propose practical, proactive solutions
• Embrace continuous improvement—streamline processes and elevate best practices
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Provide reliable insights and data to drive better business decisions
• Play a role on strategic projects and advisory initiatives 

   Who You Are:

• CA/CPA or relevant tax qualification
• 8+ years experience in a multinational, large corporate or Big 4
• Very strong in both indirect and direct tax and in particular in Corporate GST
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced in Microsoft Suite and working within a tier 1 ERP system
