OOSH EDUCATIONAL LEADER
We are seeking an Educational Leader who can improve our Centre practices in these key areas:
Setting up provocations for exploratory, play based learning environments that promote planned and spontaneous experiences in our indoor and outdoor dedicated Before and After School Care spaces within the school premises
Guiding Educators in their responsiveness, communication and reflexivity to promote childrens increased participation in learning experiences
Developing reflective practices to promote ongoing growth and improvements within the centre
Promoting the positive and proactive communication between children and Educators and confidently role model and guide de-escalation strategies to support behaviour and contribute to the overall emotional regulation and wellbeing of children
Our Centre: We provide term-time care for children aged 5-12 years, with above-ratio staffing in our 90-place centre. Our Premises: Set in a red-brick house on school grounds, our dedicated space features well-established indoor and outdoor environments, a purpose-built office, and a fully equipped kitchen. Our resources support active, passive, and digital programs. Our Community & Culture: We are valued by our local families and work closely with the school, P&C, and inclusion support services to create a welcoming and enriching environment for all children. Our Approach: A minimum 20-hour commitment per week, with flexibility to support program needs to ensure our Educational Leader has the time and resources needed to succeed.
