Sales Representative Job OverviewA sales representative engages directly with customers throughout the entire sales process. Their main duties include identifying customer needs, presenting relevant products or services, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish. Sales representatives may reach out to potential customers through cold calling, leveraging business directories or client referrals, or they may work with "warm" leads, which are prospects who have already shown interest and are passed to them by the marketing team. Success in this role requires a balance of building strong customer relationships and actively seeking new business opportunities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Sell courses and services to customers, representing the brand, which involves asking questions to determine the best offerings, delivering presentations, and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients.
  • Reach out to potential leads through various channels, such as email, phone, text, and social media.
  • Meet with education agents regarding recruiting international students
  • Engage with high schools, job network agencies for suitable applicants
  • Negotiate with leads, utilising effective techniques to overcome objections and close deals that are mutually beneficial to both the company and customers.
  • Submit and process enrolments to ensure customers receive the products or services theyve requested in a timely manner.
  • Participate in company meetings with managers, typically providing a recap of recent results and achievements to demonstrate meeting sales targets.

Schedule

  • 3 days per week, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time once targets are met.

Ongoing Training and Development

  • Due to the dynamic nature of the sales industry, youll participate in regular training, workshops, and networking events. This ensures you stay current with industry trends, enhance your skill set, and maintain a strong professional network.

About You:

  • NSW Drivers Licence - no restrictions
  • Have completed a course in Business Admin, Leadership and Management or Sales & Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in sales with proven evidence
  • Warm and approachable personality
  • Highly motivated and able to work unsupervised while meeting targets
  • Working with children check (WWCC)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
