Refrigeration Mechanic

Baltech Services is a dynamic and versatile company who service many major hospitality and fast food clients , servicing/maintaining a wide range of products as well as general electrical , refrigeration , beverage services and more . 

We are based on the south side of Brisbane , but service the general S/E QLD area. 

Most of our staff are versatile in different aspects of the electrical and refrigeration fields.

The successful applicant will preferably have experience in the hospitality service industry , as a Service Technician with a dual trade minimum of a QLD restricted electrical license and Refrigeration Arctic license .

• Experience installing and maintaining Post mix beverage systems and frozen sparkling beverage units , highly regarded for this position .

• Small refrigeration maintenance experience will be well regarded , as well as cold room service/maintenance experience .

• Technical equipment repair back ground will be well regarded for this position , preferably with catering equipment in hospitality

• Full training will be provided to the successful applicant . Electricians ( electrical fitter/mechanics ) are welcome to apply if they have a back ground in these areas and have a full Arctic license ( dual trade )

• The successful applicant will have a minimum of a restricted electrical license , Refrigeration Arctic license , current c class manual vehicle license , current CPR certificate and must have own tools of the trade including all meters , power tools , hand tools , refrigeration related equipment/tools , etc .

We will supply all uniforms , vehicle , phone , etc , for work purposes .  

Hourly rate / wages will be subject to negotiation , dependant on experience .

Working week is 40 hours with 2 x hours accrued to rdo time .

It is a condition of employment that all technicians take part in a rotating on call 24/7 roster , with our expanding team  ( An on call allowance is provided , plus min 3 hrs per callout at applicable overtime rates ) .
