About the role Manage administrative activities associated with the Domestic and Family Violence court assistance program, including providing a secretariat function, completing conflict checks, preparing spreadsheets, maintaining equipment and supplies, mail, records management, and other activities as directed. Act as the first point of contact and manage all incoming calls including providing general information, referral advice, assessing eligibility and providing information regarding client rights, responsibilities, and confidentiality. Help the team prioritise daily tasks and maintain appointments and calendars including scheduling appointments with clients, interpreters, experts, and other relevant stakeholders. Also make bookings for rooms, videoconferences, flights, accommodation and hire cars. Help clients to complete Legal Aid applications. Liaise with court registry and other stakeholders in relation to safety planning and referrals.
