The Position Were seeking a hands-on and organised Yard & Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations across the yard functions. In this pivotal role, youll manage deliveries, production yard staff coordination, and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Youll also play a key role in maintaining compliance with safety procedures, coordinating lifting and loading activities, and providing effective on-site leadership for a team of up to 10 people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and allocating daily yard tasks
  • Liaising with drivers, production teams and site supervisors
  • Monitoring vehicle maintenance and ensuring minimal delivery disruptions
  • Providing training and induction for new team members
  • Ensuring safety and compliance with all OH&S regulations
  • Attending site meetings and resolving delivery issues as needed
  • Driving a culture of safety, accountability and teamwork
Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, youll bring:
  • Experience in a, yard, or production leadership role (preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a busy, interruptive environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A professional phone manner and a commitment to customer service
  • Proficiency in data entry and use of computer systems
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks and work within tight deadlines
  • Confidence in resolving conflict and managing performance
