The Company:This Company is one of Australias leading event suppliers. They provide world-class event and exhibition solutions for an incredibly diverse range of clients. They place a strong emphasis on client service, creative design, and quality, and are looking for a new Production Manager to join their Sydney team.
Position Terms:
- Full-time permanent role
- Working 5 days a week in the office
- Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 plus super
- Prior experience working on custom stand projects in the exhibition industry is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Oversee processes and continuously improve efficiency within the Production department
- Successfully execute projects from concept to completion
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline workflow
- Lead and manage the Project Management team
- Allocate projects and ensure timelines are met
- Build and maintain strong supplier, organiser, and venue relationships
- Monitor project profitability and manage large-scale, high-impact projects
- Collaborate with Account Managers to develop detailed project quotes and budgets
- Foster a high-performance culture through training, mentorship, and clear communication
- Attend industry events to stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies
- Support company-wide strategic planning and reporting
- Ensure alignment of company values and mission in all operational activity
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities
- Practical, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Comfortable with autonomy and single-point accountability
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required
- Has a strong focus on client experience
- Custom stand expertise is essential
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours for events when required
- Ability to work from the office 5 days a week
