Manager - End User Environments

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client seeks a Manager - End User Experience. This position is responsible for overseeing the technology platforms and environments that enable seamless digital experiences for staff and students. From operating systems to audio visual (AV) technology in learning spaces, your focus will be ensuring end users are empowered, supported, and delighted with the tools they rely on every day.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on improving user experience, embraces both operational rigour and innovation, and knows the value of asking smart questions to drive continuous improvement. WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

• Leading a team that supports operating environments, AV infrastructure, and user support tools across a complex, multi-site environment.
• Managing the lifecycle of devices, systems, and user-focused technology in teaching, learning, and collaboration spaces.
• Embedding tools and practices that improve system reliability, automation, and service delivery.
• Engaging with users and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into meaningful technical outcomes.
• Ensuring systems are secure, available, and supportable while seeking smarter, more intuitive ways to deliver services.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Proven leadership experience in managing people and building high-performing teams.
• Previous hands-on experience managing end user environments—device fleets, AV systems, collaboration tools, or similar technologies.
• A strong understanding of user experience principles, with a passion for technology that genuinely serves its users.
• A natural curiosity and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technology delivery with user needs and business goals.
