Here at our Ferntree Gully head office depot we are looking to welcome a positive, energetic kitchen hand to our friendly afternoon Production Team.

Our afternoon/night team operates on a Sunday to Thursday roster

• Shifts available from 12pm to 7pm Sunday and 1.30pm-7.30pm Monday to Thursday
• Work 4-5 shifts per week
• Shift length of 5-6 hours, with some flexibility available to support work-life balance. Longer shifts will be available to those showing commitment and reliability.

You have a strong understanding of correct food handling procedures with a Safety First approach always, the ability to learn quickly and work independently, while being a dedicated team player.

Please note payrate listed is for an adult 21+ and will be less for younger applicants.

The role involves...

• Cooking and mixing sushi rice
• Operating machinery such as sushi tumbler/dishwasher
• Data entry
• Stock count
• Ad hoc duties to keep it interesting and fun!
• Full training provided

The role requirements…

To be successful in the role, you can offer the following;

• Competently (and without assistance) lift 15 - 25kg frequently
• Work in a cool room environment (below 5 degrees)
• A strong ‘can do attitude and team player mindset
• The ability to work under pressure, and unsupervised
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently
• Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
• Using equipment and tools, as well as operating machinery for preparation and processing (able to operate or exposure to packing machinery an advantage)
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities
• Reliable and available to work a minimum 4-5 shifts per week between the hours of 12pm - 7.30pm, Sunday to Thursday
• Great communication
