Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical sales support for incoming enquiries—understanding customer needs, product capabilities, and application requirements
Qualify opportunities from local and international customers, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial alignment
Support the full sales cycle—from initial enquiry to product specification, quotation, order processing, delivery, and after-sales service
Maintain and update CRM systems, prepare quotes, follow up leads, and ensure pipeline visibility
Work closely with engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
Be the internal technical advocate for customers—manage escalations, returns, and post-sales feedback professionally and promptly
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within customer portfolios
Assist with compiling and preparing technical documentation and tender submissions for major projects
Background in technical or engineering-related fields (e.g. Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or similar) an advantage
Ideally, youll have 1 to 5 years of experience in a technical sales or product support role. However, this isnt essential - if you bring the right attitude.
Confident in or willingness to interpreting technical drawings, schematics, specifications and datasheets
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a passion for customer service
Technically curious, commercially aware, and driven to learn and grow
Proficient in CRM and quoting software, plus the MS Office suite
Industry experience in weighing, instrumentation, mining, or industrial automation is highly regarded
A valid Police Check is required, or willingness to obtain one
