HSET Manager

PCH Civil is a growing civil and construction company with a strong focus on quality, people, and long-term partnerships. Were looking for an experienced HSET Manager to lead our safety, environment, and training functions—building on what weve established and helping us raise the bar even higher.

Reporting to the Executive Director - Engineering and Construction, youll play both a strategic and hands-on role in shaping how we manage health, safety, environment, and training across the business. Youll have autonomy, support from established systems, and the opportunity to contribute directly to board-level decisions and broader company strategy.

Your Impact

• Drive continuous improvement of our HSET systems and practices

• Align HSET initiatives with company strategy and project goals

• Ensure audit readiness and maintain ISO and FSC accreditations

• Lead across health, safety, environmental, and training responsibilities

• Mentor and support site teams with regular engagement and coaching

• Manage audits, risk assessments, investigations, and reporting

• Oversee compliance for our Registered Training Organisation (RTO)

What You Bring

• Minimum 10 years HSET experience in civil, mining, or construction

• Relevant HSE qualifications + Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

• Auditor credentials and deep knowledge of ISO standards

• Proven ability to work independently and lead with initiative

• Strong leadership and communication skills, including board-level engagement

• A proactive mindset and genuine drive to embed a strong safety culture
