Grid Connection Manager / Senior Power Systems EngineerShape the Grid Connection Future of Renewable Energy Projects Across Australia Join a global renewable energy developer with an expanding footprint across utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects. As we scale our Australian operations, were building out our in-house power systems engineering capability - and were looking for a senior engineer ready to take the lead.

What youll do:

  • Lead grid connection applications for large-scale projects across multiple NEM regions
  • Manage external consultants and contractors to ensure technical quality and alignment with project timelines
  • Liaise directly with AEMO, NSPs, and other stakeholders, navigating technical reviews, GPS, R0-R2, and grid modelling
  • Build and refine internal tools, workflows, and models - were setting this up from the ground up
  • Recruit, grow and mentor a dedicated in-house team as we scale our development pipeline
  • Stay hands-on with PSS/E, PSCAD, Python scripting, and dynamic modelling where required
What were looking for:
  • Deep experience in grid connection and power systems studies for utility-scale renewables in the NEM
  • Strong working knowledge of PSSE, PSCAD, and the R0 to R2 connection process
  • Confidence in stakeholder engagement - from AEMO to contractors
  • Someone who thrives in a high-autonomy, build-it-yourself environment
