🌟 Social Media Marketing Manager (Part-Time / Freelance)
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Commitment: 3–4 days per week
Rate: $1,500–$2,000 AUD/week depending on experience

Were at a pivotal point as we move away from being coined as a content agency, and into the strategy and social media space.
We’re now looking for a strategic and results-driven Social Media & Growth Director to lead our content, growth, and paid social efforts across multiple brands. This is a senior hybrid role ideal for someone who understands culture, content, and conversion.
🧠 THE ROLE
You’ll develop and execute high-performance content strategies that drive brand growth, community engagement, and sales. From overseeing organic content and storytelling to managing paid ads and performance reporting, you’ll own the social-to-sales journey.
You’ll work directly with the founder and a nimble team to bring ideas to life — with the autonomy and clarity to make real impact.
🔍 WHAT YOULL DO
Strategy & Planning
- Lead social and growth strategy across 3–4 brands
- Set monthly content plans, campaign calendars, and creative themes
- Align social, organic, and paid content around brand goals
Content & Creative Oversight
- Direct storytelling, tone, and visual direction across all platforms
- Brief and manage content production across VA, editor, and designer
- Film and edit content across all brands
- Identify viral hooks, culture trends, and brand-aligned content formats
Paid Ads & Growth
- Run or manage Meta and TikTok ads (Remy, Anko focus)
- Build and optimise simple paid funnels for awareness, lead gen, and conversion
- Analyse performance and recommend creative/test iterations
Team Oversight
- Manage weekly priorities, briefs, and creative approvals
- Support and mentor our VA in execution
- Build systems that remove friction and speed up delivery
Influencer and UGC management
- Working with talent and influencers across brands to source content that converts
- Build on established storytelling
Reporting & Insights
- Track and report organic + paid metrics across brands
- Propose experiments based on insights
- Own audience and revenue growth goals from social
✅ YOULL NEED
- 3+ years experience in social strategy + paid social campaigns
- Strong grasp of social platform trends, storytelling, and analytics
- Experience running or managing Meta/TikTok ad campaigns (eCommerce + content-led brands)
- A strong visual eye — you know what feels premium and converts
- Experience managing small teams or freelancers
- Tools: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Later, Notion, Google Suite, Slack
- A huge appetite for trending content and Tik Tok organic content to make sure our brands are always ahead of the curve.
Bonus:
- Experience with podcast brands, health/wellness, fashion or DTC eCommerce
- Familiarity with AI tools (Descript, Opus Clip, ChatGPT) to improve workflow
- Experience with graphic design on Figma and/or Canva
