Events Coordinator
The Corporate Events team at ECU is responsible for organising and managing large scale events such as ECU Open Day, graduation ceremonies and a variety of engaging community, staff and student events. Across three campuses, we are seeking a meticulous and driven team player to be a part of our Corporate Events team - someone who is passionate about coordinating events. The Events Coordinator is responsible for communicating event protocols and standards to the wider University community, providing an advisory and consultative service to internal and external stakeholders, and working collaboratively with the wider Growth, Engagement and Marketing service centre to develop, manage and deliver all university events. This position also has full responsibility for the coordination of a variety of events that complement the Universitys strategic objectives. Key Criteria Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Events the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Organisational Skills: The Events coordinator needs to be highly organised to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage schedules, and ensure that all aspects of an event come together smoothly. Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for liaising with clients, vendors, and colleagues to understand their needs, convey information clearly, and coordinate tasks efficiently. Attention to Detail: Events often involve numerous intricate details that must be managed carefully to ensure the success of the event. Time Management: Events coordinators must be adept at managing their time effectively to meet deadlines, coordinate tasks, and ensure that all elements of an event are executed on schedule. Benefits & Remuneration This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $92,087 to $99,353 per annum plus 17% university superannuation contribution.
