Lead with Vision & Drive Innovation

• Champion a growth mindset by identifying emerging technologies (e.g., digital solutions, IoT) and industry trends to position Eaton as a market leader.
• Instill a digital-first approach within the team to streamline processes, boost productivity, and enhance customer experiences.
• Represent Eaton on Standards Australia committees (e.g., EL-007, EL-043) and influence industry regulations as part of the Australian Industry Group.
• Ensure compliance with certifications (NER, RPEQ, RPEV) and maintain Eatons reputation for technical excellence.

Elevate Customer Success

• Build strategic relationships with key technical stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to align solutions with their needs.
• Lead high-impact proposal reviews and presentations, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability.
• Resolve complex challenges by stepping in to guide the team during critical customer engagements.

Foster Collaboration & Excellence

• Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Project Management teams to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
• Promote cross-functional synergy to align engineering outcomes with business objectives.

Build a High-Performing Team

• Attract, develop, and retain top talent, creating a pipeline of diverse technical experts.
• Mentor engineers to achieve career goals while driving accountability for project timelines, design quality, and documentation.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and adherence to Eatons values.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelors in electrical engineering, 12+ years in power systems.
• Deep Knowledge: HV switchgear, transformers, capacitor banks, and voltage regulators.
• Bid Mastery: Experience signing off on technical proposals and launching new products.

• Consultative Leader: Build trust with stakeholders through value-driven conversations.
• Business Savvy: Balance technical and commercial goals to drive growth.
• Communicator: Simplify complex ideas for engineers, clients, and executives.
• Relationship Builder: Navigate enterprise clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies with ease.
