Vibe Independence Disability Support is seeking 2 enthusiastic and experienced All-Rounder Support Workers to join our growing team. We provide high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities in the Caboolture, Morayfield, North Lakes, and Petrie areas. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, committed, and have a genuine desire to empower our participants to live their best lives.

We have several rewarding positions available, requiring experienced support workers:

• Support Worker for Participant with Limited Vision:
• Assist a participant with limited vision with various tasks, including dropping off and picking up children from school, household assistance, and accompanying them to swimming activities.
• Provide support that promotes independence and enhances their quality of life.

• Support Worker for Community Access (Accessible Vehicle Required):
• Provide community access support to a participant who requires assistance due to their weight.
• You must have your own accessible vehicle (no 4x4 or high cars) that is suitable for wheelchair accessibility.
• Provide assistance with entering and exiting the vehicle and ensure safe and enjoyable community outings.

• Support Worker for Two Brothers with ASD and Behavioral Issues:
• Provide afternoon support to two brothers with ASD and behavioral issues.
• Responsibilities include school pick-up, community access, and in-home support.
• The successful candidate must be able to adapt quickly to changing situations, manage challenging behaviors, and work collaboratively with the parents, Occupational Therapist (OT), and Speech Therapist, etc

• Support Worker for Independent Client (North Lakes):
• Provide in-home domestic support to a highly independent participant in North Lakes, with a minimum of 1 day a week commitment.
• Occasional community access support may be required, primarily assisting with accessibility when their motorized scooter presents challenges.

Essential Requirements for All Positions:

• Previous experience as a support worker is essential.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete accurate and timely shift reports.
• Capacity to adapt quickly to different environments and participant needs.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility with availability.
