Compliance Training Business Partner
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Partner Compliance Training in Learning and Development. This position is part of a team of professionals who provide the City with support to ensure training and licence compliance and prevent and rectify non-compliance. This includes evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of training focused controls to maximise efficiency and quality to build organisational capability and mitigate risk.
Key Deliverables
Provide expert advice and education on compliance training requirements aligned with our Certified Agreement, legislation, audit outcomes, and risk management strategies.
Ensure compliance and standards are maintained through the training needs analysis, data update, employment vetting e.g. Blue Card, Aus Check management processes.
Partner with the business areas to maintain a specialised focus on the ongoing mandatory training needs across the organisation.
Undertake research, project planning and development of learning need assessments and gap analyses to identify the developmental needs of the organisation.
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and packages from internal and external training providers and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
Where required, develop course content with assistance from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and deliver training programs including face-to-face,blended, or eLearning, and participate in work project teams when the need for specific compliance training input has been identified.
About You
You are a learning professional and have demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance training
Excellent communication skills, including building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, ensuring consistency and clarity of advice
Strong consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence project outcomes
Mandatory qualifications / requirements
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Equivalent Knowledge; or
Certificate IV in Learning Design and Facilitation or Equivalent Knowledge;
