As part of a passionate, collaborative team, youll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business — with a clear pathway to equity for those ready to lead from the front.Were looking for an Associate Structural Engineer with a strong grasp of the local market, commercial insight, and the drive to help grow something meaningful. The RoleAs an Associate Structural Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Leading project delivery from concept design through to construction, ensuring technical excellence
  • Contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Overseeing project financials including fee proposals, resourcing, budgeting, and profitability
  • Managing and mentoring engineers and drafters within the team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Peer review of design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance
  • Representing the business in client meetings, presentations, and industry forums
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of systems, processes, and design standards
 About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:
  • A minimum of 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience within the Australian market
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Structural/Civil Engineering)
  • CPEng accreditation
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams and/ or projects
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
  • A track record of driving business performance through technical and commercial contributions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and influence
  • A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for growing business and people
