We are pleased to announce an exciting leadership opportunity for a full-time, permanent Associate Nurse Unit Manager position within our Anaesthetics/PACU Perioperative team located at Epworth Geelong, Waurn Ponds.

As an ANUM, you will be responsible for providing team leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective management and ongoing development of our team working in Anaesthetics/PACU. You will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and be part of our theatre leadership team. You will join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that strives to achieve outstanding outcomes every day. Our peri-operative environment consists of 9 Operating Theatres and prides itself on providing excellent service and care for our patients and doctors.

 You will make an impact by:

• Assist in day to day management of the Anaesthetics/PACU team

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
• Be passionate about leading through, developing and guiding others
• Extensive Anaesthetic/PACU experience
• Flexibility and excellent organisation and communication skills
• Committed to learning and developing current clinical practice
• Well-developed understanding of relevant professional standards
• Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative/ Perianaesthesia nursing or working towards.
• Current nursing registration with AHPRA

Our Peri-operative environment consists of 9 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre, Cath Lab and 2 endoscopy suites.Located all on the one level we have the Operating Theatre, Cath Lab, ICU and Day Surgery allowing excellent patient flow and best patient care. As there is an increased demand for the excellence Epworth Geelong provide to its patients and VMOs, our operating theatres are continuing to expand. Currently our specialities include; Orthopaedics, Vascular, General, Macs Facs, ENT, Pain, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Plastics, Neurosurgery and Urology. We operate Monday to Friday with emergencies on weekends which helps provide flexible rostering, giving our staff an excellent work/life balance. With education as a key motivator for our department we provide multiple opportunities for our staff to develop new skills as well as continue to build on their already strong knowledge base.

The annual salary range for full time ANUM - AUD $107,462 - $110,966 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
