What you will be doing: - Developing, delivering and evaluating a range of workforce capability and/or organisational development programs and initiatives that contribute to the strategic outcomes of the department. - Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and deliver best practice human resource management solutions and strategies that will support the departments current and future workforce capability requirements. - Conducting research and analysis that leads to the effective development, implementation and evaluation of workforce strategies including workforce capability frameworks, plans, policies and programs and other initiatives such as employee engagement surveys. - Managing the workforce capability vendor engagement and procurement process in-line with departmental policy and program budget. - Coordinating and supporting a range of learning and development and workforce strategy initiatives and activities to support a high-performance culture that encourages and acknowledges the positive contribution of individuals and work teams. The skills you will need include being able to: - Initiative when planning, organising and implementing the roles responsibilities. - Stakeholder management skills to build and sustain relationships with a broad range of people internally and externally to the department. - Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to use research and workforce insights to develop potential solutions to business needs. - Communication and interpersonal skills to convey information effectively and professionally. You may also have: - Experience in workforce capability and workforce development programs and systems, such as learning management systems, employment programs or diversity and inclusion will be highly desirable.
