Administration Officer (identified) Research Assistant

About the role Temporary opportunity to to engage community and clinicians and gather high quality research data including interviews and/or research yarns with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers for the Deadly STEPS research project. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Healths values: Assist the nominated Principal investigator (PI), Deadly STEPS research co-ordinator and the research team and community to co-design study materials including but not limited to, consumer pamphlets, research scripts, enrolment logs, data collection forms. Assist the nominated PI with preparation and delivery of project education and communication material to staff. Perform the recruitment including attendance at relevant community events, screening, assessment of suitability for research and obtain written and verbal consent for participants. Plan timelines and co-ordinate the organisation of Deadly STEPS walk throughs at Caboolture Emergency Department.
