About the position:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Yard Tractor Operator to join our Afternoon Shift team at our Gillman Depot. This hands-on role involves the efficient and safe movement of trailers and equipment within our transport yard.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience operating yard tractors or similar heavy vehicles in a high-volume logistics environment.
This position is permanent full-time working 38 hours each week, Monday to Friday with the approximate start times of 2pm & 3pm.
About you:
- MC Licence - Required
- Forklift Licence - Required
- Prior forklift experience within a logistics setting.
- A steadfast commitment to safety protocols and a collaborative teamwork approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- Literacy and comprehension.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
