ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with a focus on water resources.
  • Proven experience in developing and applying hydraulic and hydrologic models (e.g., EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, MIKE URBAN).
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater collection and distribution systems, stormwater management, and related environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) for spatial data analysis and model input preparation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with data management and analysis techniques.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is necessary.
   ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Develop and calibrate hydraulic and hydrologic models for water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management systems.
  • Analyse modeling results to identify system deficiencies, evaluate design alternatives, and optimise system performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate modeling findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in modeling software, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of modeling standards and guidelines.
