R&J Batteries are one of the biggest battery and lubricant distributors across Australia and New Zealand. We're a family-owned company and love what we do.
Due to growth within the business, our Hindmarsh branch is looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operator who will also be delivering stock to customers.
This role will suit a self-motivated, ‘hands on' individual who enjoys a variety of duties. You must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting while observing safe lifting practices.
Full training will be provided so you succeed in this role.
The main duties of this role include:
Deliveries of quality product to our valued customers
Loading and unloading of trucks/pallets
Accurately picking and packing of orders
Checking, charging and fitting batteries
Assist with other branch duties when required.

Work hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday (40 hours) with rostered Saturday mornings (paid at penalty rates)
About YOU
Hold a valid Forklift licence or willing to obtain one
Hold a valid MR licence or willing to obtain one
Licensed and confident to drive a manual vehicle
Previous experience in a similar position
Confident and comfortable speaking with customers
Have a keen eye for detail and memory for part numbers
You must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting, including some repetitive lifting (30 kgs) while observing safe lifting practices.
You are well presented and comfortable being the face of the company
