The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands‑on, safety‑driven Workshop Technician to join our Fairfield Service Workshop team. If you’re a certified diesel tradesperson who thrives on diagnostics, repairs, and solving technical challenges, this role puts you right where the action is.
Roster: 40 hours, Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Annualised Wages: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Role Located: $46.61 - $51.36 base per hour, plus overtime, plus tool allowance
What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair and service Komatsu equipment to a high technical standard.
Test, adjust and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and monitoring systems.
Produce accurate, professional technical and service reports.
Keep labour output high while maintaining excellent safety and housekeeping.
Support quoting, job planning, TSI/warranty processes, and cost control.
Deliver outstanding internal and external customer service.

What We Are Looking For
Certified Plant Mechanic + Current Driver’s Licence.
Strong diagnostic capability and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently, safely and with attention to detail.
Solid communication skills and a team‑first attitude.
Forklift + Working at Heights tickets (or willingness to obtain).
Komatsu equipment experience highly regarded.
