Join Our Team at Echo Marine Group – Stores Assistant
Echo Marine Group is a proudly Australian-owned and operated company with over a decade of experience in the marine industry. We specialise in the construction of luxury superyachts, commercial workboats, and the refit and maintenance of vessels across the superyacht, workboat, and defence sectors.
We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Stores Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the boat building and marine manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
· Manage and maintain material inventory for production
· Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against orders
· Organise and store materials and equipment for efficient access
· Label supplies and equipment as required
· Process internal requisitions for materials and equipment
· Advise the Stores Supervisor on all incoming goods
· Collaborate effectively with all relevant departments
· Issue and track tools and equipment to ensure proper condition upon return
· Coordinate stock transfers between internal and external locations
· Ensure consumables are sufficiently stocked and up to date

Training and Development
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in the role. Initial training includes:
· Company Induction
· Overview of Company Policies, Procedures, and Standards
· Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities
Compliance and Quality
· Perform duties in compliance with relevant Occupational Health & Safety, environmental, and Equal Opportunity legislation
· Adhere to Echo Marine Group’s Quality Management System standards
Working Hours
· Standard hours: 38 hours per week compressed into a 4-day working week
· Flexibility required for occasional additional hours to meet operational demands
