About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Manufacturing team in Wulkuraka. Reporting to the Operations Manager – AUSblue, you will lead daily site operations, supervise production staff, and ensure safety, quality, and production targets are achieved. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the production team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members through ongoing training, performance feedback and skills development.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards and site KPIs are achieved while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Promote and enforce compliance with Workplace Health & Safety, environmental and quality systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Monitor site operations, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise plant performance.
- Ensure preventative maintenance, equipment inspections and calibration activities are completed to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, inventory transactions, stocktakes and cycle counts.
- Manage inventory levels, including slow‑moving and quarantined stock, to support production requirements and budget targets.
- Ensure all site procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current, with employees appropriately trained and competency assessments completed.
- Investigate and report safety incidents, hazards and near misses, participate in risk assessments, and drive corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Planning, Warehouse and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements and operational objectives are met.
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting accountability, open communication, continuous improvement and safe work practices.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience operating and maintaining production facilities.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Sage X3 experience is advantageous).
