Workfast is looking for Trade Qualified Welders/Fabricators to join their workshop team working on structural steel chute systems in Bankstown NSW.Payrate: $50 p/hr + OT and SuperHours: 6am to 2pmLocation: Bankstown, NSW

Candidates must have trade qualifications and have at least 4 years experience as a Welder. Any experience with welding of structural steel or fabricating chute systems would be highly desirable but not required. This job is a casual position with full time hours leading to full time employment for the right candidate.

  • Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm
What you need
  • 2 years + fabrication experience 
  • Relevant fabrication trade qualifications
  • Willingness to learn on the job
  • Own transport and drivers licence
  • Be able to pass a pre employment Drug & Alcohol Screening and Medical Assessment
  • Be able to lift 20kg unaided
What you will be doing
  • Structural steel fabrication in industrial chute systems 
  • Working in a team of fitters & welders
  • Gauge welding
  • Fabrication of various piping and equipment
  • MIG & TIG Welding
  • Sheet metal fabrication
  • General labouring and site clean up
  • Performing any duties required by the manager
