We're looking for a Pre-Delivery Manager to lead our pre-delivery operations, ensuring every vehicle leaves our dealership in perfect condition.
Pickerings Automotive Group Townsville represents 14 new vehicle manufacturers including Prestige European brands, niche brand manufacturers and operates two Used Vehicle locations in the city.
Our New Pre-Delivery & Parts Distribution Centre is a member of the Pickerings Group of Companies with a wide representation throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory

Key Responsibilities:Accessory Installation & CustomisationSupervise installation of accessories (e.g. window tint, spoilers, coatings).
Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
Liaise with sales and service departments to ensure smooth vehicle delivery.
Coordinate with vendors for parts, services, and accessory supply.
Oversee comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for all vehicles.
Identify and resolve mechanical or cosmetic issues before handover.
Guarantee compliance with both manufacturer and dealership standards.
Lead and manage a team of pre-delivery technicians and detailers.
Organize schedules to meet strict delivery deadlines.
Train staff on inspection, quality control, and dealership standards.
Supervise installation of accessories (e.g. window tint, tow bars).
Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
Liaise with sales and service departments to ensure smooth vehicle delivery.
Liase with our sales and the parts department in the same building, with services, and accessory supplies.
Track vehicle flow through the PDI process.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, work performed, and installations.
Ensure adherence to warranty and safety compliance.
Deliver vehicles in pristine, showroom-ready condition.
Address last-minute concerns or special customer requests with professionalism.
Meet departmental performance and budgetary goals.
Uphold dealership policies and support broader business objectives.
Foster a motivated, high-performance team culture.
Contribute to parts sales and gross profits in line with industry benchmarks.
