Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a fantastic health service in the South West Region of Queensland to help them find an experienced Practice Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

  • Salary of $110,000.00 per annum plus 12% superannuation
  • 12 Month Contract
  • Permanent
  • Clinic Hours - 9:00am to 5:00pm - Monday to Friday
  • Accommodation provided - shared

Responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Strengthen culturally safe referral pathways through collaboration with hospitals, AMS and palliative care services to ensure patients and families receive the right care at the right time.
  • Engage with community by developing health resources, and delivering education to raise awareness and reduce barriers to care.
  • Drive continuous improvement by collecting and analysing data, monitoring outcomes, and applying quality improvement processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Support holistic, family-centred care by developing practical models of care, coordinating equipment and resources, and ensuring culturally appropriate palliative care is available close to home.
To be eligible you must:
  • Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
  • Have a minimum of 12 months clinical nursing experience as an immunisation nurse
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Indigenous communities - desirable
  • Immunisation Certificate
  • Blood collection experience essential
  • Must have full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).
