Your Opportunity

As a PMO Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and closure of customer heavy maintenance projects. You will be responsible for preplanning, project plan development, production control, risk mitigation, material procurement, and customer reporting. Your duties will include reviewing workscope documents, preparing commercial quotes, building and maintaining project plans, tracking production progress, and developing strategies to resolve issues affecting project milestones. You will also support the PMO Manager, deputise when required, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities
  • Reviewing customer workscope documents to determine project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring all elements are accurately captured in the project plan.
  • Executing pre-input activities such as internal preparation meetings, technical reviews of taskcards, and assessments of tooling and material needs prior to aircraft arrival.
  • Preparing commercial quotes and monitoring project performance against financial targets, maintaining a focus on cost efficiency and value delivery.
  • Building and maintaining comprehensive project plans with clearly identified milestones and critical paths, adapting plans as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Tracking production progress, assessing routine and non-routine tasks, and updating the project plan to address any issues impacting return to service (RTS) targets.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks related to materials, manpower, or technical defects, developing strategies to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
  • Supporting the PMO Manager with timely data and information, facilitating clear communication with customers and management, and deputising when required.
  • Chairing daily production and customer meetings, particularly during AOG events or technical incident investigations, to ensure effective project oversight.
  • Consolidating post-check reports after project completion, capturing performance indicators, critical issues, resource consumption, and customer feedback for project wrap-up.
  • Leading internal wash-up meetings to assess critical path tasks and drive continuous improvement initiatives, embedding lessons learned into future projects.
  • Representing Jet Aviation with professionalism and integrity, both internally and externally, and maintaining strict adherence to workplace health and safety, aircraft safety, and compliance standards.

Essential Requirements
  • Relevant Production Engineering bachelor’s degree
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Grade 5)
  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years equivalent experience in Project Management
