Overview
Manage complex environmental impact assessments and permit processes for activities in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
As Permits Manager, you will lead and deliver moderate to highly complex environmental impact assessments and permit decisions for activities in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. You will assess permit applications in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies and guidelines; make recommendations; exercise delegations and provide technical advice on the sustainable management of activities in the Marine Park.
This role plays a critical part in assessing risks, recommending mitigation measures and strengthening the Reef Authority’s permissions system.
