Jot Painter Services Pty Ltd Position: Painter Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 per year plus Superannuation (commensurate with experience) Hours: Full-Time Work Location: On-site projects throughout Melbourne and close-by suburbs and regional areas. JOT Painter Services Pty Ltd is a reputable and growing painting and decorating business based in Melbourne, Victoria. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be working on several projects ranging from domestic housing to semi commercial projects. You will contribute to both new builds and renovation projects, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency throughout. Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching and filling holes/cracks Apply paints, varnishes, sealants and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces Mix paints to required colours and textures Erect and work safely on ladders and scaffolding Protect adjacent surfaces and ensure a clean worksite Interpret plans and job specifications Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures Essential Requirements: AQF Cert III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Cert IV. In absence of formal qualifications, must have at least 3 years or more verifiable work experience. Skilled in the safe and effective use of painting tools and equipment. Strong understanding of worksite health and safety practices. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Good attention to detail and time management skills. White card along with a driver license and a vehicle of your own. Please do not apply if you do not have full working rights and do not meet the qualifications /work experience requirements. Preference will be given to Permanent Residents and Australian Citizens.
