Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and support the smooth running of Royal Nut Company’s corporate office. You will play a key role in planning and managing office services, coordinating personnel activities, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards and regulations. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Support the development and continuous improvement of administrative processes to streamline day-to-day office functions in line with Royal Nut Company’s quality and productivity standards. • Collaborate with leadership to set priorities for office services that enhance business workflows across departments including sales, production, logistics, and retail support. • Manage allocation and scheduling of office resources — such as workspace, equipment, technology, and supplies — to meet the needs of administrative, production support, and customer service teams. • Maintain office systems and facilities, ensuring that equipment (printers, phones, computers) and supplies are functional, well-stocked, and support operational efficiency. • Assign and oversee daily tasks for office support staff, ensuring responsibilities are clear, deadlines are met, and work quality reflects Royal Nut Company’s high standards. • Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development and coaching to strengthen the administrative team. • Oversee accurate maintenance of office records, files, and documentation — including sales records, correspondence, internal reports, permits, and supplier paperwork — according to company policies. • Ensure that office procedures comply with relevant Australian legislation, food business compliance standards, workplace health and safety regulations, and internal policies. • Liaise with service providers, external professionals, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve administrative issues and support business operations. • Act as a central point of contact for office-wide communication, ensuring information flows effectively between management, production teams, retail staff, and external partners. • Coordinate support for HR-related activities including recruitment assistance, employee onboarding, performance review scheduling, payroll documentation preparation, and internal training arrangements. • Work with senior leadership to foster a positive, collaborative office culture that aligns with Royal Nut Company’s values and supports employee engagement and retention. Qualifications: • Tertiary qualification in Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required) • Diploma or postgraduate studies in Business Administration (desirable) Other Skills and Requirements: • Minimum 1 year experience in office administration or office management. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple activities. • Experience in food manufacturing, retail, or a small to medium-sized business environment. • Understanding of payroll, human resources support, and compliance requirements. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency with office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and record-keeping systems. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
