Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Fenestrate Pty Ltd Date Posted: 22nd May 2026 Position: Metal Fabricator Salary: $76,515 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Mode: Full-time Location: 27 Bormar Drive, Pakenham, VIC 3810 Experience: Minimum 1 year relevant experience as a Metal Fabricator, Welder, or similar role Fenestrate Pty Ltd is a specialist manufacturer and installer of premium steel windows, doors, and architectural metalwork solutions. Known for quality craftsmanship, precision fabrication, and custom-designed architectural products, the company works across a range of residential and commercial projects requiring high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. As our operations continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a tradesperson with strong fabrication and welding experience who can contribute to the production of high-quality steel architectural products while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the fabrication process. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: • Fabricate high-quality aluminium doors, windows, and architectural components according to specifications. • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and metal cutting machines • Operate various metalworking tools and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. • Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools • Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments • Joining metal structures using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting • Collaborate with designers and project managers to achieve project goals. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Uphold our standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout the fabrication process. • Coordination with supervisors and installation teams Qualifications • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Engineering Fabrication Trade, Metal Fabrication, Welding, or related qualification • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience highly regarded Skills and Requirements • Minimum 1 year relevant experience as a Metal Fabricator, Welder, or similar role • Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical plans • Experience working with steel, aluminium, and architectural metal products • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding techniques • Skilled in the use of fabrication machinery, grinders, cutting tools, and measuring equipment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple fabrication tasks • Strong understanding of workplace safety and fabrication compliance standards If you are a skilled Metal Fabricator looking to join a growing architectural metalwork company that values craftsmanship, precision, and professionalism, we welcome your application.
