Medical Receptionist/Admin - Podiatry Clinic
A busy Podiatry practice based in St Albans is seeking an energetic, highly motivated and well-presented part-time receptionist.
The position is for two days per week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Friday essential, and one of Monday - Thursday.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- answering telephones
- booking appointments
- meet and greet patients
- billing and receiving, cash, credit card and Medicare card handling
- account control
- typing letters
- general office tasks
Essential skills:
strong time management skills,
ability to work under pressure in a busy practice
strong attention to detail and organisational skills
excellent verbal and written communication
Previous experience with medical software, preferably Pracsuite or Front Desk.
Experience in a similar role within the health industry is essential with experience in Eftpos, HighCaps, Medicare, work cover payments and reconciliations.
