About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated:

  • Veterans / Reservists from Army, Navy & Air Force
  • Vehicle Technicians (mechanics / diesel fitters)
  • Ground Support Technicians
  • Engine Maintenance Technicians (Cert IV)

Work on the most exciting engine platforms in the defence sector – theM1 Abrams AGT1500 engine, thelegendary F/A 18 Super Hornet’s F414 engine and F135 engine that powers the most advanced fifth-generation fighter in the world – the F35 Lightning II.

  • Performing heavy engine maintenance activities including strip, detailed inspection, and assembly
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved publications, technical data, and work instructions
  • Maintaining documentation of work in progress
  • Performing maintenance supervisory/inspection duties as specified by aviation regulators
  • Continually looking for way to improve in efficiency and effectiveness
  • Taking all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
  • Upskilling to obtain a Certificate IV in Aeroskills Mechanical
Desired Skills and Experience

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold or be willing to upskill to Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of strip, detailed inspection and assembly of technical equipment
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within regulatory requirements
  • The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and composition of maintenance worksheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to meet regulatory requirements
  • A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
