The Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to work full-time in our aged care home at The Views in Heidelberg. As a Maintenance Officer, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain a safe and attractive living environment to suit the needs of the residents
• Identify and prioritise resident needs to create a more home like environment
• Assist in the selection of trades people to undertake specific tasks
• Maintain a planned preventative program along with ensuring documentation requirements are met
• Attend to the maintenance of buildings, ground and utilities in line with the schedule

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a trade
• Experience in identifying standards as they relate to the provision of building maintenance
• A customer service focus with the ability to provide solutions
• Electronic Maintenance Management system experience
• A commitment to continuous improvement that enhances resident lives
