The Opportunity: Hunter New England LHD is seeking an experienced GP VMO or CMO IC to provide solo emergency department coverage in a regional hospital.

You'll manage a range of high-acuity presentations, working independently while supported by skilled nursing, retrieval, anaesthetics, and gynaecology teams. These shifts are ideal for confident, self-directed doctors with a strong emergency background.

• Shift structure: Day 08:00-20:00 | Night 20:00-08:00
• Onsite presence required for full shift (excluding designated breaks)
• 2 mandatory rest days for locums working 7+ consecutive days on-call

• Willingness to complete onboarding and hospital credentialing
