Situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland this well-established General Practice, founded in 1970, is currently seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join their team due to unmet patient demand. The practice is owned and operated by doctors who also work within the same practice, fostering a deep understanding of both the clinical and operational aspects of the business. With a team of 10 GPs, the practice offers a supportive and collaborative environment.
The practice operates on a mixed billing system, with full private billing on Saturday mornings and for any procedures. The incoming GP will receive 65% of billings, with an initial guarantee of $150 per hour for the first three months. The average hourly billing is $380, translating to a potential earning of $8,892 per week for a 36-hour work week. Some doctors in the practice have been billing up to $450 per hour.
Supported by two nurses on duty at any given time, the practice uses Best Practice software for streamlined patient management. One of the key attractions for the incoming doctor is the high patient demand—doctors have been busy from day one.
