About the role
This permanent part-time Finance Admin role in South Melbourne, Victoria offers the opportunity to join a growing and innovative company. In this position, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
What you'll be doing
Processing invoices, payments and receipts in a timely and accurate manner
Maintaining financial records and assisting with month-end reporting
Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
Managing payroll and employment system
Providing general administrative support to the team
Handling customer and supplier inquiries related to financial matters
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies
What we're looking for
2-3 years' experience in an accounts/finance administration role
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Proficient in using Xero accounting software and Google Suite
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Payroll experience
Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related field would be advantageous
