Loyola College is looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Sport to join our vibrant school community. This full-time role is based in Watsonia, VIC and will be responsible for leading and managing our comprehensive sports program.

• Oversee the planning, organisation and delivery of all sporting activities and programs at the school.
• Coordinate and manage a team of coaches and volunteers to ensure the smooth running of sports teams and events.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote student participation and engagement in sports.
• Liaise with external sporting organisations and associations to organise competitions, carnivals and other events.
• Manage the sports facilities, equipment and budgets to support the delivery of the sports program.
• Foster a positive and inclusive sports culture that aligns with the school’s values.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to sports staff and students.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in sports management, physical education or a related field.
• Experience in sports administration and program coordination.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing sports teams and programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
• Commitment to promoting student participation, wellbeing and personal development through sports.
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required for this position.
