As a Cleaner, you will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising residents’ rooms, communal areas, kitchens, and bathrooms
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Collecting and disposing of waste in accordance with infection control protocols
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities management team
• Adhering to all health, safety, and quality standards within the facility

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
• A current Police Clearance (less than 6 months)
• Flexibility to work hours Monday to Sunday between 6am to 6pm, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed
• Recommended to have 2 COVID vaccinations and an up-to-date flu vaccination
