About Us\n

We’re a globally recognised organisation, driven by our purpose of giving everyone a “better way forward.” We offer a collaborative and caring team environment, with a strong focus on learning and development, where your contributions are recognised and supported with competitive incentives, career growth and opportunities.

About the Role\n

Michelin Australia is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Partner to join our Sales Admin team in Melbourne. This role acts as a key liaison between the commercial teams and Sales Administration, ensuring strong alignment between business priorities and administrative processes. You will help translate commercial objectives into efficient, executable actions across departments, while supporting a seamless order‑to‑cash cycle. The successful candidate will take ownership of end‑to‑end Sales Administration activities, identify priorities, risks and improvement opportunities, and play an active role in improving sales support performance, service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Act as the main point of contact between Sales, Marketing and Sales Administration teams for operational coordination and business support.
  • \n
  • Partner independently with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance to advise on best practices and propose practical solutions.
  • \n
  • Support collaboration and alignment across local and offshore Sales Administration teams, ensuring clarity, consistency and effective communication.
  • \n
  • Advise, challenge and propose effective commercial terms and conditions options to business teams, helping reduce complexity for both customers and employees.
  • \n
  • Monitor Sales Administration service performance against agreed targets and ensure corrective action plans are in place where required.
  • \n
  • Translate commercial priorities into clear and actionable tasks for the Sales Administration team.
  • \n
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, inconsistencies, risks and opportunities for quality, service and process improvement.
  • \n
  • Ensure Sales Administration activities and related projects comply with internal control requirements and company standards.
  • \n
What We're Looking For\n

You are a structured, collaborative and solution‑oriented professional who enjoys working across teams and turning business priorities into clear operational outcomes. You will bring:

\n
    \n
  • Experience in sales coordination, sales support, business operations or a similar business partnering role (ideally 5+ years).
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, administrative workflows and order‑to‑cash activities.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.
  • \n
  • Confidence working with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and IT.
  • \n
  • Ability to monitor performance, identify root causes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce and BSC, or similar business platforms.
  • \n
Success Looks Like\n

Success in this role will be demonstrated through strong coordination and alignment between commercial and Sales Administration teams, high service levels in order processing and issue resolution, improved operational efficiency, timely execution of commercial activities, and strong stakeholder collaboration. You will also contribute to reducing complexity in commercial conditions, improving Sales Administration performance, supporting corrective action plans, and helping teams stay aligned around shared business outcomes.

What’s in it for you?\n
    \n
  • Competitive salary package with a performance‑based bonus
  • \n
  • Career progression opportunities within a global organisation
  • \n
  • Above industry superannuation (2% above the Superannuation Guarantee)
  • \n
