• Maintain a visible, proactive presence to promote a calm, safe hospital environment.
• Use professional judgment and situational awareness to respond to incidents.
• De‑escalate challenging situations with a respectful, people‑focused approach.
• Conduct regular patrols and follow established safety protocols.

• Have experience in security, emergency response, defence, or law enforcement.
• Are confident, resilient, and able to communicate clearly under pressure.
• Hold relevant security qualifications and a valid Private Security Individual Licence.
• National Police Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
