Job Description

On behalf of our client, Wisdom Denture & Dental Clinic (trading as Wisdom Denture Clinic), a full-time opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced Dental Technician. Wisdom Denture Clinic is a well-established dental practice based in Penrith, New South Wales, with over a decade of experience in denture and general dental care. The clinic is widely recognised for delivering high-quality, patient-focused dental services, with a strong emphasis on professional standards and the use of advanced dental technologies.

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Creating high-quality custom dentures, crowns, and bridges tailored to each patients needs, supporting the clinics commitment to personalised care.
  • Designing and fabricating protective oral appliances such as sports mouthguards and night guards to enhance patient comfort and safety.
  • Constructing, repairing, and adjusting full and partial dentures using modern techniques, ensuring optimal fit and function for every patient.
  • Producing precision dental restorations, including metal clasps, inlays, and bridgework, in line with the clinics high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Relining and rebasing dentures to maintain long-term comfort and oral health for patients receiving ongoing denture care.
  • Applying topical fluoride solutions and desensitising agents as part of preventative and restorative care plans.
  • Conducting teeth cleaning and calculus removal to support patients oral hygiene and contribute to comprehensive dental care.
  • Sealing fissures with non-invasive materials to protect teeth from decay, consistent with the clinics focus on preventive treatment.
  • Taking accurate dental impressions to ensure precision in appliance and prosthetic creation, supporting the clinics personalised approach.
  • Capturing high-quality dental radiographs to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning as part of a fully integrated dental team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualifications;
  • At least 3 years solid work experience;
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure the accurate fit and function of dental work;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with dentists, patients, and the team;
  • Skilled in dental lab equipment and technology;
  • Committed to ongoing professional development;

Salary: This is a full-time position (minimum 38 hours per week) with a competitive salary range between $70,000- $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
