Job Details

If you’re someone who shows up with kindness, patience and a good sense of humour, you might be exactly who we’re looking for. SIRV is a registered NDIS provider specialising in complex care, high intensity supports and mental health support work.

We’re on the lookout for Community Support Workers to support people in their own homes and out in the community. The work is simple to explain but powerful in practice — helping with everyday life, offering encouragement, and being someone a person can rely on.

Some days you might be helping around the house, providing personal care, cooking a meal, or keeping someone company. Other days you might be heading out for a coffee, a walk, an appointment or a favourite activity. It’s real, one‑on‑one support, built on trust and respect.

Our high intensity supports include bowel and catheter care, PEG, NGT and stoma care. If you don't have the experience, that's no problem — we provide all training for these supports.

Shifts vary to suit different people and lifestyles. Some supports start from a 2‑hour minimum, while others are longer support days. That means flexibility, variety, and the chance to build genuine rapport instead of rushing from place to place.

We have a range of work available from southern to northern ends of the coast we service all areas.

Our participants are diverse and you will have the opportunity to support:

  • Children and young people, helping with routines, activities, skill‑building and community outings.
  • Mature‑aged clients, offering practical support, companionship and help to stay independent at home and in the community.
  • Nursing care support to vulnerable members of the community.

Experience is great, but it’s not everything. If you’re caring, reliable, and comfortable working independently in someone’s home, we want to hear from you. A driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are important, and you’ll need (or be willing to get) NDIS clearance, Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR.

You’ll be joining a friendly, down‑to‑earth team that values people over paperwork. We’ll support you, train you, and treat you like a human — not just a roster line.

If you’re looking for work that feels good at the end of the day and actually makes a difference, we’d love to meet you.
